The Moon Mystery.

The small pool held WOT's attention for a long time. How did the moon become caught in this way? Perhaps WOT could retrieve it.

This required a lot of thought.

As darkness approached, the moon slowly rose from the pool and returned to the sky without assistance. WOT recorded the event carefully in his notebook. His official conclusion was brief:

Small moons occasionally appear trapped in shallow water.

Retrieval may not be necessary.

Further observation required.

The matter remains unresolved. WOT still checks every pool, puddle, and water trough he encounters, just in case another moon becomes stranded.
