WOT FIELD NOTES: DO BUILDINGS SLEEP?

Humans appear to believe that buildings are inanimate.
The evidence is inconclusive.
Last night, WOT observed a building long after its occupants had gone to bed. Almost every window was dark, but one remained illuminated until dawn.
No human entered the room. No shadow crossed the curtain. Nothing moved.
When the sun appeared, the light went out.
WOT has submitted three possible explanations:
A human forgot to switch it off.
The room was afraid of the dark.
The building had been awake all night, thinking.
The Intercept Division considers the first explanation the most likely.
WOT prefers the third.
